Hello!

This is my new blog. It's going to be about felting, and anything else that comes up! I like to felt. That includes felting knitted items, found woolen items, or anything else that will shrink up into a thick, interesting, and hopefully, more useful item. It really is magical to put a loose, floppy object into the washing machine and take out a small, dense creation of your own! I giggle every time! There are many ways to felt. My favorite is the washing machine because it does most of the hard work for you. I have felted many hand knitted items, sweaters, coats and other woolen clothing found at the thrift stores, and wool fabric. I've also done some needle felting using a felting needle to embellish a bag with roving. It's all fun. I hope to get some pictures up soon and share some patterns and methods. Please share your experiences with me!
